My first question would be: how can you look me in the face and tell me all this great stuff about Trane when you know it is a piece of crap that will be constantly breaking down and costing me thousands in repair bills.
Our Trane is less than 5 years old and so far this year we have had the repairmen out four times. We have already spent $500 on repairs and are now facing a $900 bill to replace the coil because it is leaking.
Almost everything that has broken down on our unit is under warranty, but by the time you pay for service charges and labor and new freon, you are still talking about major bucks for every repair.
You would think that if the coil on the ac has a ten year warranty, you could expect it to last that long or somewhere near it. But no, you have to have it replaced and spend almost a thousand bucks to do it. And there is freon to buy at 70 buck a pound and that initial service charge just to have them come out and tell you your piece of crap Tranne has once again crapped out.
Never again a Trane for us and we will crucify you on the web every chance we get.
